Wild Rose Ranch began in 1985 with a commitment to breeding and raising athletic, beautiful moving Paint Horses, as pleasant to own and show as they are to look at!

We strive to develop talented horses sought by professionals and good minded enough to be shown successfully by a youth or amateur, including our own children.

Over the past 20 years, we have raised multiple World Champions, Honor Roll horses, futurity winners and California State Champions in every event, excluding the speed and cattle events. We have been listed on APHA's leading breeders list and some of our mares have been listed on APHA's leading dam's list. Now we are turning our focus on our own homegrown stallion WR Extaordinar, a 1997 liver chestnut overo. We are now offering him to the public.

WR Extaordinar's first foals are just what we expected, winning both open and non-pro pleasure and lunge line futurities in English and Western, with youth, amateur and professionals aboard; attesting to their great dispositions, trainability and strong natural movement.

Wild Rose Ranch is a 200 acre ranch owned by the Voorhees Family. It is located south of Galt, California at the northern edge of the San Joaquin Valley. Take Hwy 99 to the Liberty Rd. exit, go east 100 yds., then north on Nichols 1/2 mile, we are on the right at 28082 Nichols Rd.
